I’m slowly catching up on past photos. Maybe if I get caught up I’ll go back to the Hawai’i ones. When did we go? 2007? 2006? The mind is the first thing to go.
Anyway, I have the day 2 photos from San Francisco. I think we spent the morning with Shana and Byron at the Farmers’ Market, which was amazing. Even with all the hippies (kidding). Then we wandered the city (again). I stupidly wanted to check out Union Square and paid for that mistake by surrounding myself with too many people.
After that dibacle and some rest, Shana took us to a beach where I got to pull out the camera. Have I mentioned I’m a crazy person when it comes to a camera?

The college is closed starting Dec 24 to the first Monday in January. Hopefully I won’t be too lazy on the couch watching movies and knitting and I will finish San Fran shots and get into Halloween. As I said, slowly catching up.
I never updated with the rest of my cakes from my Wilton Cake Decorating class. We made three cakes in all and then I went and made another with all the extra icing in my fridge. I have to say, I really like decorating cakes. I have spent a long time thinking that I couldn’t bake a cake and that I couldn’t ice one to save my life. I’ve learned that it isn’t as hard as you may think but that you just need to try it before you decide you can’t do it. I guess that can be applied to many things in life. New life philosophy? Probably not. Anyway, I still need practice but I’m not too bad so far.

That’s right, one of the insane runners took a camera with him as he ran. It’s sort of like watching “The Blair Witch Project” on fast forward. You can see the as the first runners start crossing the finish line. I’m the dark the dark blob next to a car waiting for the Husband to cross the finish line and fearing he fell in the water and died or was eaten by hungry squirrels.
Now that I have a new computer and I’m not waiting twelve years to resize an image, I’ve been able to start going through some of the back events. I thought, since I’ve been quite a raving lunatic wife, I would start with one of the Husband’s races. This is the Squirrelly Six and Hairy Gorilla Half Marathon which is a fun race that insane people run. It’s held just before Halloween so you have a lot of people in costume. The Husband didn’t think to run in costume this year, but I’m going to make him do so next year. If I remeber correctly he placed third in his division.
