Halloween 2008 (just a little late)
I have Halloween photos from the party we held in 2008. We had a lot of fun. Sadly the Husband woke up a little sick and you can see it in his picture, but he persevered! Mainly because I would have killed him. This year we decided to take it a little easy. Instead of going insane making insane amounts food and costumes from scratch, I decided to be creative. We held our first annual Halloween Food Contest. I still made way to much food and have vowed not to do so again next year. Then there’s the no-sew costumes. We went as the ghosts of Halloween Past, Present, and Future. The Husband was the Ghost of Halloween Past wearing different parts of past costumes–King Arthur’s crown, Mal’s jacket and shirt, Snidely Whiplash’s vest, and the Hakama I made the first year. I am the ghost of Halloween Future decked out in all the fabrics and patterns of costumes yet to come. The Ghost of Halloween present was a box complete with Halloween wrapping paper and a bow, because I couldn’t resist the pun.
